I am Jeannette York. For 15+ years, I worked as the one-person HR function across healthcare, tech, manufacturing, and financial services. That meant compliance, investigations, employee relations, onboarding, manager coaching, and systems implementation all at once.
HR Compliance Compass came from that real-world pressure. The goal is simple: give HR professionals and business leaders fast, clear, state-aware guidance they can trust in the moment.
Most HR tools are built for teams with in-house counsel and large budgets. That was never my reality, so I built a practical platform for everyone else.
I spent years being the only HR professional in the room. Every tough moment came to my desk first: terminations, leave edge cases, pay questions, investigations, and policy gaps that needed answers now.
The hard part was not the willingness to solve problems. The hard part was speed and confidence. I did not need a giant legal database. I needed accurate direction I could apply immediately.
